To My Fellow GM's
I have decided to sim all of the season and playoffs based on your inputs from Sim 2 as I am closing down the league effective immediately, but their is some good to this post if you read on later.
I have really enjoyed running my first sim league and I want to thank all of you for participating and keeping it entertaining for me everytime I have gotten online Since April when I originally started Gens.I feel like we have a family here at Gens and I really have enjoyed getting to know all of you and hearing your input whether positive or critical.
I believe Gens has ran its course and I think a major change is needed in this league, some of the GM's have obviously had luck to build successful teams while other have endured the loosing but still believed in the league and stayed active even with their busy lifestyles.I think Gens was a good blueprint for me to build upon its sucess's and failures. That is why I am doing the following.....
I have been working on a league file for the 99-00 season using the much better fast break basketball engine and I am planning on having "Gens 2" ready seriously by the end of next week, giving me time to get the rosters in order,a great homepage up and some new active GM recruting so we can jumpstart "Gens 2" and make it the envy of other sim leagues out their eventually as I plan to sim from 99-00 to 05-06 and maybe beyond.
I hope all of your respect this decision as we have all gotten a little bored with Gen's somewhat and change isnt always a bad thing and we all kinda got the vibe of how Gens is ran so I invite all of you to keep your current teams are choose new ones if thats the case and work with a more modern NBA atmosphere and more players who are in the league today.
Moho and Blaha will still be co-commish's and the trade committee will still stand as alot of other things you were use to in Gens.
Don't think this is all talk as you know I always come through with my promises and I ask for your patience while Gens 2 is still in the building stage.
Thanks Daniels
P.S-Player pages are uploadedt,be aware some of the greed and stuff is off as I am only uploading it so you can see how the players did stat wise in this sim in a 5 year period.

I'd be interested in keeping the same team or the Lakers . Some things I'd reccommend. 1. Better Hosting. www.aloofhosting.com is a great site with FTP capabilities and would make everything more accessable. 2. League Involving Homepage More. When the rosters are on the forums, it draws you away from the main page. 3. Player Pages- these give new GMs a better idea of their players' skill. 4. More Quality GMs- Not knocking anyone here, but some of the people in this league have little to none sim league experience and could hardly form a complete sentence. Activity is key to leagues, and when you have some not contributing, it gets worse. 5. More sims, less time for each sim. 10 day sims are a pretty good number, but when you get to more it's just too much of a wait and can change too much. 6. Live Sims- Allows GMs to trash talk each other and promotes league activity. This is especially exciting for the playoffs. Just my thoughts.

Wow I made it 1 whole season and now kablooey! I'd be interested in returning as well. Of course only if it lasts more then 1 season. The Hawks turned out to be total crap, Of course my last trade i had just done would have changed our record immensially but oh well. Twas fun anyhow.
Team preferances
1st - Cliippers 2nd - Suns 3rd - Magic
